Jeremy came to the workshop a couple of weeks back with a nice stick he wanted to turn into a lamp. Nice idea, so I made a simple base that held the wood securely and vertical (ish)

A simple lamp fitting was installed into the top of the wood and held into position with black fire putty. The stick was gently cleaned with wire brush and all the sharp edges from twigs sanded and lightly rounded. The whole lot wood and metal was lightly oiled with Danish oil and waxed.
