High back hairpin benches and tables to create intimate booth seating at Norden Hall Farm Arts Centre in Maidenhead. Dimensions were critical on this job as all the seating and tables had to fit perfectly into the annexe. The location is great- a 17th century barn and gives the centre a bit more seating for the restaurant and private dining for parties. Materials used were 16mm mild steel round bar lightly waxed with reclaimed scaffold board lightly sanded oiled and held onto the steel frames with some nifty little P clips. Scaffold board is from St. Albans Wood Recycling project, and we cut to size and lightly sand and oil for a raw distressed and aged look with minimal effort.
