We were commissioned by Croydon Council to design, fabricate and install a large village sign. We designed it so the parts could be laser cut and then the project assembled traditionally with large tenon joints to secure the cross members though the frame with some heat and a hammer. The post is oak and the sign has the last Gillett and Johnson. The installation is intended to celebrate Croydons industrial history….
