Gordon a semi retired tradesman welded up this imperial space slug on a one day mig welding course. It’s a piece of 70mm pipe or circular hollow section cut with a diagonal one end and a 70mm hollow sphere welded in at the top. The offcut from the bottom was welded in a cloak collar at the top. The lips are made by cutting a slit, heating and bending out. The flowing cape is made again by heating and bending with a. hammer on the anvil. The hands are some 3mm wire
